## Who this is for
For patients and caregivers looking for community, education or help navigating care. Inclusion is not a recommendation or a finding that this group is right for your situation.

EGFR Resisters is a grassroots, patient-driven nonprofit for people with EGFR-positive lung cancer and their caregivers. Its stated goal is to turn EGFR-positive lung cancer into a manageable, chronic disease.

## What they offer

- A private online support group. As of October 2026 it lists more than 7,549 members.
- A monthly newsletter with research news.
- A Patient & Caregiver Summit and an Annual Research Summit, with recordings.
- Project PRIORITY, a patient survey with a public dashboard on life with EGFR-positive lung cancer.
- Research awards jointly funded with [LUNGevity](/cancer/organizations/lungevity/).

## How to join and what it costs

Fill out the join form on the website and say whether you're a patient or caregiver. I didn't see a membership fee listed (checked October 2026).

## How it fits with other groups here

EGFR Resisters covers common EGFR mutations. If you have an EGFR exon 20 insertion, also look at [Exon 20 Group](/cancer/organizations/exon-20-group/). For general lung cancer support, see [LUNGevity](/cancer/organizations/lungevity/) and [GO2 for Lung Cancer](/cancer/organizations/go2-for-lung-cancer/). If you were diagnosed young, see [Young Lung Cancer Initiative](/cancer/organizations/young-lung-cancer-initiative/). More in my [find support](/cancer/resources/find-support/) guide.

## Questions I would ask

- How do I join the online group, and who moderates it?
- Where can I watch past summit talks?
- How can I take part in Project PRIORITY?
- Is there a local or virtual meetup near my time zone?

## Limits and context
Program details are reported by the group unless noted, as of October 2026. Confirm current programs, eligibility and any costs directly with the group. A community group does not give medical advice.

## Relationships and disclosures
I have no financial or business relationship with this organization.
