## Who this is for
For patients and caregivers looking for community, education or help navigating care. Inclusion is not a recommendation or a finding that this group is right for your situation.

MET Crusaders is a global support group for people with any MET-altered cancer: MET exon 14 skipping, MET amplification, MET overexpression, in lung cancer or any other tumor type. It's part of ICAN, the International Cancer Advocacy Network, a Phoenix-based 501(c)(3) that has done patient navigation since 1996.

## What they offer

- Direct navigation of your case, including oncology nursing support.
- Second opinion referrals and help connecting to molecular testing.
- Clinical trial and compassionate use matching.
- MET Mentors, peer-to-peer support from other patients.
- Virtual meetings, webinars, social media groups and patient meet-ups.
- Plain-language recaps of MET research from big meetings like ASCO 2026.
- Training for patients who want to advocate, including on public policy.

## How to join and what it costs

As of October 2026, membership is free and includes their services. You join by calling or emailing them with your contact information (see Contacts).

## How it fits with other groups here

MET Crusaders is biomarker-specific. Its sister ICAN group for exon 20 insertions is the [Exon 20 Group](/companies/exon-20-group/). Other biomarker groups here include [ALK Positive](/companies/alk-positive/), [EGFR Resisters](/companies/egfr-resisters/), [The ROS1ders](/companies/the-ros1ders/) and [KRAS Kickers](/companies/kras-kickers/). For broader lung cancer support, see [LUNGevity](/companies/lungevity/) and [GO2 for Lung Cancer](/companies/go2-for-lung-cancer/). My [find support](/resources/find-support/) guide covers how to choose.

## Questions I would ask

- Can you review my testing report and confirm my MET alteration?
- Which trials or compassionate use options fit my situation?
- Can you connect me with a MET Mentor?
- What records should I send before my intake call?
