## Who this is for
For people seeking financial help to access a sarcoma specialist.

## Sarcoma Alliance second-opinion grants

For: Sarcoma

Financial assistance for people with sarcoma seeking a second opinion from a sarcoma specialist.

This program is for people with sarcoma who have a U.S. mailing address. It helps with eligible costs for a specialist second-opinion consultation, rather than ongoing treatment.

As of October 2026, grants reimburse eligible consultation and related travel expenses up to $1,000. The application requires patient information, physician confirmation and receipts. Check the program page for the current requirements before arranging a visit.

## What they do

Help paying for one expert consultation and related expenses. The medical opinion comes from the sarcoma specialist you consult.

## Access and cost

Apply with the patient form, receipts and physician confirmation. Reimbursement can be sent only to U.S. addresses.

As of October 2026, the published grant maximum is $1,000 for consultation, travel and related expenses. It does not fund ongoing care after the opinion.

For preparation and comparison, see my [second-opinion guide](/resources/get-a-second-opinion/).

## Questions I would ask
