ACS ACTS, short for Access to Clinical Trials & Support, is an American Cancer Society program for finding a clinical trial with support around it. ACS says it works with Massive Bio for AI-driven trial matching, and pairs that with its own staff and programs.

What they offer

  • Personalized clinical trial matching, provided through Massive Bio.
  • A conversation with an American Cancer Society cancer information specialist.
  • Plain-language education about how trials work.
  • Connections to other ACS programs, such as lodging near treatment and rides to appointments.

How to join and what it costs

Fill out the sign-up form on the ACS ACTS page or call the ACS 24/7 cancer helpline. Patients, caregivers and health care team members can sign up; if someone else submits the form, ACS contacts the patient directly. It's open to residents of the United States and U.S. territories. The ACS page does not list a fee (checked October 23, 2026).

How it fits with other services here

Massive Bio runs the matching behind ACS ACTS. If you want the ACS support programs too, ACS ACTS is the way in. My clinical trials guide explains how to judge a match.

Questions I would ask

  • Which of my biomarkers and treatments will the match consider?
  • Can a specialist help me contact a trial site?
  • Which ACS lodging or ride programs could help if a trial is far away?
