KRAS Kickers is a patient-led nonprofit for people with a KRAS mutation in any cancer, including lung, pancreatic and colon, and the people who care for them. It was founded by Terri Conneran, a lung cancer patient with KRAS G12D. Its focus is turning KRAS research into plain language so you understand what your specific variant (G12C, G12D, G12V and others) might mean.

What they offer

  • A private Facebook group where moderators answer questions and point you to resources.
  • Online support group meetups on Zoom for patients and care partners.
  • One-to-one peer mentors, with more countries and languages covered through a partnership with Imerman Angels.
  • Webinars and interviews with KRAS doctors and researchers, plus recordings on YouTube.
  • Research and clinical trial updates by email.

How to join and what it costs

You join through the KRAS Kickers website: sign up for the email list, request to join the Facebook group, or ask for a peer mentor. I didn't see any fee for these (checked October 2026). Zoom meetups need an RSVP to get the link.

How it fits with other groups here

KRAS Kickers is biomarker-specific, like ALK Positive, EGFR Resisters, The ROS1ders, MET Crusaders and the Exon 20 Group. For broader lung cancer support, see LUNGevity and GO2 for Lung Cancer. My find support guide covers how to choose.

Questions I would ask

  • What does my specific KRAS variant mean for my options?
  • Can you match me with a peer mentor who has my cancer type?
  • When is the next Zoom meetup?
  • Where can I watch past expert webinars?
